Born and raised in Seattle, Mahir graduated with a degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan. During his degree he interned for F5 Networks, learning how web applications and traffic work at a global scale. After graduating, he moved to LA to work as a full stack engineer at a startup in the education space, working to scale the company's product and infrastructure after raising its Series A. With his extended family living around the globe, he spent a lot of his youth on long-haul flights which spurred an interest in the aviation sector. Bringing experience in scaling the product of a high growth startup and goals of being a founder himself one day, he hopes to make his mark on the future of air travel with Moonware.
