Originally from Germany, Philipp studied at the Art Center College of Design in California, specializing in Transportation Design. He attended the INSEAD business program in Singapore and did an exchange program at Tongji University in Shanghai. He started his design career working with premium brands like Bang & Olufsen, Mercedes-Benz, BMW Designworks and ICON Aircraft, which gave him a deep understanding of the user experience and diligent attention to detail for the high-end market. Working in the Google [x] Moonshot factory on autonomous vehicles gave him great insight into conceptual and strategic design thinking processes, especially on projects that haven’t been realized nor worked on ever before. At Uber ATG and Elevate, Philipp developed moonshot projects with a very aggressive timeline, disrupting aerial and autonomous ridesharing programs.
