Aircraft have transformed over the last century. The systems coordinating them on the ground have not. Moonware is building the operational layer that connects people, equipment, aircraft, and increasingly autonomous systems into a single real-time network. We believe every airfield should operate as one coordinated system.

Designed for what comes next
Moonware was founded in 2020 with the belief that aviation was entering a new era. From air taxis to supersonic planes, the future of flight will require a fundamentally different approach to ground operations.
Aircraft and airfield operations are becoming more connected and autonomous, but the systems coordinating them on the ground have not kept pace. That gap is what we set out to close.
We started by tackling one of aviation’s most complex operational challenges: the aircraft turnaround. It’s aviation’s equivalent of an F1 pit stop. In as little as 30 to 60 minutes, dozens of people and vehicles converge on a single aircraft to unload bags, clean, cater, refuel, board passengers, and push it back safely and on time.
Today, we’re building AI-powered technology that connects people, equipment, aircraft, and operational data into a single system, coordinating work across the airfield in real time.
Our team combines decades of aviation experience with engineering talent from leading Silicon Valley tech companies. Together, we’re building the operational systems the next generation of aviation will run on.

PHYSICAL AI
Intelligence for the physical world
The next generation of aviation will require software that does more than process information. It must understand what is happening across the airfield, anticipate what comes next, and coordinate action in the physical world.
We call this Physical AI: real time intelligence built on a perception layer for the physical world. Instead of running on manual updates or static dashboards that only reflect what should be happening, it works from the actual, moment-to-moment state of the airfield. From there, it does the harder work: turning that awareness into judgment, and judgment into what happens next.
