Matthew Ott

Originally from Sunnyvale, California, Matt has 12 years of experience in mobile development. He studied Physics at UC Santa Barbara, where he learned about the properties of waves, both on and off the surfboard.

Matt began his diverse career at Hurricane Electric as a Mathematician, where he wrote libraries to solve problems in number theory, calculus and linear algebra. He then transitioned to Dialpad, focusing on building real-time voice and video mobile applications.

Most recently, Matt had his own software consulting business, helping start-ups find their digital footing in traditionally analog industries. Matt’s interest in aviation was sparked by his two grandfathers, who were both pilots in the United States Air Force. He joined Moonware, motivated by his passion to modernize traditional industries through technology and the opportunity to make a difference in the day-to-day lives of workers on the airfield.

He is excited to bring his passion and curiosity to the team at Moonware and help develop intelligent systems for airfield automation.
