Moonware, a leader in automated airfield operations, is proud to announce its partnership with PrimeFlight Aviation Services at Felipe Ángeles International Airport (NLU) in Mexico City, the company’s largest station and primary hub in Mexico. This collaboration extends the deployment of HALO, Moonware’s Ground Traffic Control (GTC) platform, to one of the region’s busiest and most strategically important aviation hubs, marking a significant milestone in modernizing ground handling operations across America. HALO streamlines aircraft turnarounds by automating many of the existing manual and antiquated processes, resulting in faster, safer, and more efficient airfield operations.
Building on a successful deployment of HALO at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with Aerocharter USA, Moonware has demonstrated measurable improvements in aircraft turnaround times and operational efficiency. As the industry’s only complete GTC platform, HALO is establishing a new standard for airfield control and resource management.
At NLU, HALO will allow PrimeFlight’s teams to efficiently manage passenger and cargo operations for 50+ daily flights. By automating workflows and centralizing oversight, HALO synchronizes Operation Control Centers (OCC), human resources, ramp operations, equipment maintenance, and other critical departments in real time to ensure precise and efficient coordination of all stakeholders involved.
The deployment also complements PrimeFlight’s recent opening of a state-of-the-art OCC, where HALO will be adopted as the preferred system for turnaround management. This implementation represents an industry first, allowing local teams to manage high-volume airfield operations with the power of automation.
“Expanding our partnership with PrimeFlight to Mexico City demonstrates the scalability and adaptability of HALO,” said Javier Vidal, CEO of Moonware. “By bringing our technology to Mexico’s fastest growing hub, we’re helping them advance their mission to redefine ground handling with innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.”
Luis Ramos, CEO of PrimeFlight Mexico, added: “Our partnership with Moonware reflects a shared vision for the future of aviation. After the deployment at LAX, we’re excited to bring HALO’s capabilities to NLU, enabling our teams to provide exceptional service and operational performance.”
Moonware’s GTC leverages advanced automation and real-time data fusion to adapt to shifting schedules and operational demands. The platform replaces traditional communication methods and manual monitoring, reducing aircraft downtime, optimizing resource utility, and minimizing airfield congestion.
This expansion highlights Moonware and PrimeFlight’s shared commitment to operational excellence, positioning HALO as a critical enabler of efficiency for airfields handling diverse operations across both passenger and cargo sectors.
