The platform is designed to streamline aircraft turnaround management, seamlessly coordinating ramp crew and ground support equipment to service flights on time. It drives significant operational improvements for teams, resulting in faster turnarounds, reduced block times, fewer delays, increased flight throughput, and maximized asset utilization. About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and drive the development of our innovative technology. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend systems that power our ecosystem. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the creation of solutions that reshape the aviation industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services and APIs that support our HALO platform.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers, data engineers, and software architects to ensure seamless integration of backend functionality.
  • Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Implement and maintain data storage solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
  • Work closely with product managers to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in backend or server-side software development.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).
  • Experience with building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
